Pre-Kindergarten Program

Sample Daily Schedule

12:15 – 12:30    Greeting/Attendance/Prayer
12:30 – 1:15      Learning centers or small group instruction
1:15 – 1:30        Whole group activity
1:30 – 1:45        Seatwork
1:45 – 2:00       
Gym/Outside time
2:00 – 2:30       
Bathroom followed by snack & rotating activity - finger plays, story, sharing, Bible verses)
2:30 – 2:45       
Closing – wrap up and review

 

 

Curriculum for Preschool Pre-Kindergarten's

The Pre-K program includes the curriculum goals of the four’s program with enhancement in the following areas:

  • Language and social interactions are encouraged through conversation, sharing with others, learning social skills.
  • Self-Reliance is emphasized with age-appropriate personal responsibility.
  • Encourage the development of good work habits.
  • Emphasize alphabet and letter sounds recognition.
  • Small group teaching.
  • Frequent cooking activities.
  • More educational field trips.
  • Bible verse memorization encouraged.
  • Alphabet letter workbook is designed to learn both upper and lower case letters and refine handwriting skills.
  • Exploring science through observation, experiments, graphing, etc.
